CHA Right Around the Corner

CHA is right around the corner and I leave in 8 days.......I am working on several things before I go......to the left is a little dress I did for the Fashion Crafting event for designers. The theme is Baby Boutique.....isn't is adorable! I am doing this with 3 other fabulous designers: Lisa Rojas, Lorine Mason & Eileen Hull.......I will take pictures of all our things together and post them here.

I just need to figure out how to add more than one picture and place it where I want it to be......have not figured that out yet.....

I am doing a second Fashion Crafting theme called Winter Wonder......I am doing that one with 2 fabulous MN Designer Girls: Denise Bielick and Becky Meverden.........I will upload a picture of something from that hopefully this weekend......

Technique to Making Tags to DYE for

Quick and Easy Pastel Tags to DYE for

Supplies: Easter egg coloring kit, tags, bowls, water, vinegar (for some kits not all require it), wax paper.

Follow the instructions on the kit package to make dye in the colors of your choice, using a separate bowl for each color.

Place tags into dye, the longer you let them soak the more intense color you will get…..this is something you will have to play with.

When you are happy with the color (they will darken up a little as they dry), lay your tags out on wax paper to dry. Turning tags occasionally. Let them dry for several hours or overnight.

Now you should have a rainbow of pastel tags all ready to use in all sorts of creative ways.
