ZNE Zalotta Grab Bags.....and A DRAWING FOR TWO ATC'S.......

I am a Design Team Member for ZNE (http://www.zneiscrafty.ning.com/) and for the month of March I and Donna Cook (a fabulous designer also on the Design team) were given the challenge of designing some items from the new ZaLotta Grab Bags that will be available at ZNE. The grab bags we got were filled with Asian Flair items to use in our work. Above is the first design I came up with, it is an Asian Cofee Table book, it turned out very cool! There are 4 little books on a matboard base and it has 4 knobs under the base to lift the book up off the coffee table.

This design is just a little round paper mache box that you could use to fill with any treasures you have, I used the drum (that was included in the grab bag) for the knob of the box. I painted and distressed the box, then decoupaged Asian paper on the top.

Here are two ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) which if you do not know

are 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" little pieces of art that are so much fun to make. These trading cards are made to exchange with other designers.....the base for them can be an actual card or cut from cardstock, matboard, etc....... I will be doing a drawing to give these two away! The drawing with be between anyone who posts a comment on my blog or adds my blog link to theirs........this contest will run for three weeks; from today March 15th until Saturday April 5th......winners will be announced on Monday April 7th. Be sure to leave me your email or blog information so I can contact you to get your address if you are a winner!
