When I saw this great design I thought of so
many uses for it besides a
checkbook cover...
Pictured below is the Note Pad Cover
I made with the Checkbook
ScoreBoard Die.
I used Earth Safe Finishes Opaque Shimmers
in Gold, Silver and Copper to cover the
matboard pieces and let them dry.
I glued a piece of vintage lace to the top edge
and then assembled using brads.
I added lettering to say
"notes 2 remember"
many uses for it besides a
checkbook cover...

That lace is just perfect! I love the whole look of this. Such a versatile die - I think only one person I've seen on the hop so far has used it for a checkbook cover! It can be so, so much more. Brilliant!

Ann, don't you just love Earth Safe Finishes? I especially love the metallics - so shimmery! The addition of the lace was a perfect touch. Just gorgeous!
