Thought I would share some personal information

After being six for nearly 2 months I thought it was time to share some personal information with my dedicated readers so you would know why my posting has been lacking of late.

I have had 6 weeks of wondering........I had (still have)
pneumonia in January, when they took the x-ray they saw a spot,
they thought cancer.......
On top of that
the day before I was leaving for CHA I had to go in for a second
mammogram and an ultrasound because the first mammogram
the week before showed something.......
then while at CHA my doctor called and said I had to come in the day after I got
home for an MRI on my breast.......
I got them to postpone for a few days after my return home......
then I went in and that showed something also,
yet different that the mammograms and ultrasound.
So this past week (Tuesday) I went in for a CAT Scan on my lung
and a breast biopsy........
my lung is fine, it is scar tissue that they saw, from having bronchitis,
pneumonia and such so often through the years.......
I still am not totally over my pneumonia,
still so tired but working on resting.......
I got the results of the breast biopsy late Friday and everything is fine
there also, although I am still a bit sore from the biopsy itself.......
I had not told more that a couple people because I really felt it would be
fine, but I think keeping it in and wondering for 6 weeks took it's toll
on me.......which would explain why I am still so exhausted........

Well that's it in a nutshell......
I will get back to regular blogging in the next week or so,
thanks so much for your patience!

Maybe you have noticed I have a new look to my blog thanks to
my wonderful designer friend Lauren Ferguson
and her fabulous friend and
web designer Mandie........
we are still tweaking it so be sure check back
to see how it turns out!

Earth Safe Finishes

Look at these fabulous colors of Earth Sate Finishes Shimmer Opaques.
The picture does not do it justice, they are so beautiful
and were a hit at the Winter CHA Show.

They had color wheels of all of their beautiful products
which made it easy for store owners to know what they wanted to purchase!

Here is a great picture of Madeline Faiella an awesome designer!

And WONDERFUL FRIEND!

Here is a picture of Nancy with me,
she is the owner and creator of Earth Safe Finishes.
She is also a talented and wonderful designer and friend!

Stay N Play Cafe with C&T Publishing & Earh Safe Finishes

Here are a few pictures from the C&T Publishing Stay N Play Cafe at the Winter CHA Show.
I was working with Earth Safe Finishes in my area of the cafe and the students loved how they went on the canvas and the beautiful colors that were available.

There were 18 different colors from the Shimmer Opaque and Shimmer Translucent line of Earth Safe Finishes for the students to use on their canvas books from C&T Publishing.

It was great seeing how each of the students used the shimmers to come up with their own unique look and each one turned out beautiful! The shimmers look great layered upon each other which gave wonderful depth to the canvas books.

There were about 40 students in the class and several different manufacturer's. The students were given a Canvas Book from C&T Publishing and then were able to go around the room during the 2 hours of class and try each of the manufacturer's products that were available.
What a fun way to have to try many different products and still go away with a completed project!

Scraperfect does it again

Amy of Scraperfect created The Perfect Printing Pouch which is a wonderful product to use before printing on all types of specialty papers to prevent bleeding. It can also be used when rubber stamping, using gel pens and markers to prevent smearing and bleeding on papers and difficult surfaces.

Well Amy has done it again with a fabulous new product called Embellie Gellie which made it's debut at the Winter CHA Show last week.
This is a quick pick-n-stick product for small embellishments.
You can use it for easy placement of gems, jewels, beads, sequins, charms, punched shapes, confetti and so much more onto paper, plastic, fabric, wood, glass, foam, rubber, leather and more!

Be sure to check for this product at your favorite local craft store or on line at Scraperfect in a month or so, as it will take a little while for the orders to be filled.
