Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop Week 4 Desk Calendar

We are already half way through the Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop
and this week we are working with

This is a great die with so many wonderful pieces and possibilities!
I used 6 of the large background of the die
to create a monthly desk calendar.
Pictured is the month of June for which
I also cut 16 of the small scallop flowers
to create a layered paper flower
which I spayed with some
(You can check out this
to see how I make the flowers and
Earth Safe Finishes Colorant Shimmer Spray.)
I framed the month with
one of the small frames from the die.
I added some sticker letters which were
matted to frame and shimmered with
Earth Safe Finishes Translucent Gold Sparkle Shimmer!
The calendar was put together with the

Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop Week 2 Twist Cube

Triple Play Week 2
Features Karen Bunistons
TWIST Cube Die

I had never worked with a
POP-UP Die
so was not sure what to expect....
Several ideas for projects came to mind
once I started to play....
and this is what I came up with

 It was perfect for a
Graduation Announcement
and Centerpiece!

It was fun and easy to make!

I used info from my son's
graduation a couple years ago!

I added Black corrugated cardboard
to the top and bottom for
added stability.

I can imagine a table filled with
these for all sorts of celebrations!

And they truly do fold down flat....
The announcements that would be mailed out
would not have the top piece added,
I would make graduation hats from card stock
and a tassel with fibers so they would be mailable!

My youngest is graduating
this year so I think I will be playing
with the TWIST Cube Die
a lot in the next few months!

The following products were used for this project:

Check out Karen's YouTube video
for details on how to put the Twist Cube
together.

Enjoy the rest of the Triple Play Blog Hop
and be sure to check out next weeks
Project!

Sizzix ScoreBoard Post-it-Note Holder

This past Saturday I shared the
with some of the ladies at my church.

The ladies were impressed with how the Big Shot worked
and that it was so quick and easy.

They each decorated their Post-it-Note Holders.

Each note holder had its own unique design.

Here are two that did not make the group shot.

Sharing creativity is a great way to spend time with friends!
