This first picture is a simple treat bag topper

For the second project I made the treat bag topper into a

Place Holder 

 by covering the large treat topper with 

decorative paper and layering it with one of the decorative elements from the die

which was inked and stamped with a name on it.

These would be quick and easy to do for your holiday table!

This weeks Blog Hop showcases

Brenda Pinnick's Sizzix Album Brackets Die

I was short on time with other commitments this week

but also wanted to be sure and complete a project 

for this week's blog hop because I saw so many possibilities for this die.

While looking around my studio for something to use with the die cut pieces

I found this little book I created in a class a couple years ago

but never finished....the cover still needed to be done.

To give the bracket background color & shimmer 

I use Earth Safe Finishes Colorant and Metallic Powder mixed together with a little water in a mister.

Then I used the bracket background to frame a fabulous Cool2Cast flower.
