For a Designer Trade Shows can mean many things:

Demonstrating NEW Products,

Teaching Make & Take it's,

Teaching Workshops, 

Teaching Seminars,

Setting Meetings,

Making New Contacts,

Networking,

Obtaining New Design Work,

Having a Designer Showcase (which is showcasing your designs 

for Manufacturers, Editors and Publishers).......

BUT one of the Perks of attending Tradeshows

is being able to catch up with

Designer Friends.....

Westcott Brand Charity Designer Challenge

In June I posted about the Westcott Brand Charity Designer Challenge

that is taking place at the Summer CHA Show.

Now this challenge was to see:

What can you make with Westcott Brand Tools,

Velcro Brand Adhesives

and Duck Brand Duck Tape.

When I opened the boxes and saw the wonderful

colors of the Duck Brand Duck Tape 

I knew it would make beautiful flowers....

putting the flowers together 

with Velcro Brand Adhesives to make

Changeable Jewelry

and using Westcott Brand of Non Stick Tools made it so easy!

Pictured above on the right is a necklace, bracelet and ring set 

I created for the challenge.

On the left is a wood piece I covered with Duck Brand Duck Tape

and placed the hook side of the Velcro Brand Sticky Back Adhesive

so that the extra flowers for the changeable jewelry set

could be displayed. The flowers have the 

loop side of the Velcro Brand Sticky Back Adhesive

on them to change out easily.

TAP "Transfer Artist Paper" so easy....

Last night I was on 

C&T Publishing's online TV Show

"Wednesday Night Live"

where I demoed how easy it was to personalize

baby items with TAP "Transfer Artist Paper"

You want to remember to reverse

before printing when using names or words.

Here is the bib I made for my granddaughter,

it is reversible and I used 

TAP "Transfer Artist Paper"

to personalize on both sides.

I used Velcro Brand Adhesive Soft & Flexible Sew-On

at the neck of the bib for a closure.

Since I made several Bibs I also used

Velcro Brand Adhesive Fabric Fusion

on a few of them for closures....

it is so easy to use: 

it has a sticky side so you can put it into place

then you iron it from the back (the fabric side)

and your done, no sewing required.....

how cool is that!
