So for the Blog Hop I decided to create a fall bracelet with my blended clay technique....
here's how I did it.
I chose my colors from the Earth Tones Package
I cut off the portion I needed using my non stick scissors
and placed the rest in a ziplock bag.
I pushed the colors together to form a log
and started to roll out the clay.
I folded the clay onto itself
and continued to roll....
you can see the colors blending together here...
I continued
folding and rolling until clay was very thin and I liked the color
blend.
Then I let this dry a few hours turning as needed.
If for
some reason it begins to curl place a book on it to help flatten it out.
I then measured the clay around a DIY Bangle
which had been painted with Earth Safe Finishes Copper Shimmer
cut to fit and glued in place with Beacon Adhesives Felt Glue.
With the left over clay I die cut 7 flowers using my
Sizzix Big Shot and Scallop Dies.
I pierced a hole in the centerof each flower
then layered them and attached a brad to hold them together.
A Quick and Easy bracelet with Stunning results using Makin's Clay....
